Experiences & field notes

A working journal of the trails, rivers and ridges we keep coming back to.

Every entry is written by the guide who led the day. Use them to picture how a session unfolds, what to pack, and what to expect on the trail with us.

A guide's note

Why we publish a field journal instead of brochures.

Stock photography never captures what a real day on a Queensland ridge feels like — the hush after the cicadas, the smell of damp ironbark, the way light pools at the third lookout. So we write it down as it happens, then share what worked, what we tweaked, and what we are watching next season.

If a particular note speaks to you, mention it when you reach out. We will line up the next available date on that route.
